About Us
By 1980 it became clear that there was a need for collective voluntary action in the Glanmire / Riverstown area:
- To press for much needed services and facilities in the area.
- To unify the various strands of the Community by integrating old and new.
This collective voluntary action was to emerge in the form of a Community Council
In February 1990 a Limited Company was formed. The name of the Company is G.A.C.A. Limited. Its main objective is to provide a framework that will associate the activities of Church, State and Voluntary Organisations.
